What is RoDTEP?
Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products refunds embedded taxes not rebated through other schemes. It replaced MEIS in 2021; rates vary by HS code (0.3%–4.3% of FOB).
Is duty drawback different from RoDTEP?
Yes. DBK refunds customs duty on imported inputs. RoDTEP refunds other embedded taxes. Both can be claimed simultaneously if eligible.
