How many square feet is one plywood sheet?
A standard full plywood/MDF sheet in India is 8 ft × 4 ft = 32 square feet. You can change the sheet size per project in the settings.
How do you calculate sheets required for furniture?
Add up the area of every surface (length × width × quantity), add a wastage allowance (typically 10%), then divide by the sheet area and round up. This tool does it separately for each material and thickness.
Why count sheets by material and thickness separately?
A carcass may use 18 mm plywood while backs use 6 mm, and shutters may use laminate — each is a different sheet you buy, so they must be counted as separate groups.
