How many paint litres are needed for a 12×14 room?
A 12×14 ft room at 10 ft height has ~460 sq ft of net wall area. At 120 sq ft per litre (2 coats), you need ~4 litres of wall paint plus ceiling paint.
How do I calculate tile quantity for a room?
Tiles needed = floor area ÷ tile area × 1.10 (10% waste). For a 12×14 ft room with 2×2 ft tiles: (168 sq ft ÷ 4 sq ft) × 1.10 = 47 tiles.
How many cement bags are needed for tile flooring?
For tile laying, roughly 1 bag of cement (50 kg) per 10 sq ft of floor and 1 bag per 8 sq ft of wall tiles is a standard estimate.
