When is PF registration mandatory?

PF registration is mandatory for establishments with 20 or more employees. Voluntary registration is possible for smaller establishments.

What is the POSH Act?

The Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act 2013 requires all organisations with 10+ employees to have an Internal Complaints Committee and a written anti-harassment policy.

What are the penalties for non-compliance with labour laws?

Penalties vary: PF default attracts damages of 5–25% plus interest; ESIC default attracts penalty up to twice the arrears. POSH non-compliance can attract fines up to ₹50,000.
