How many tiles do I need?
Tiles = area ÷ tile area, then add wastage (typically 10%). Round up to whole tiles.
Why add a wastage allowance?
Cutting at edges, breakage and future replacements mean you should buy 5–15% extra.
How many boxes should I buy?
Divide the total tiles (including wastage) by tiles per box and round up to full boxes.
